Studio AJH is led by Amelia Jane Hankin; a design practice that spans performance design, speculative design, and education, with a specialisation in scenography, world-building, and spatial storytelling.

 

Amelia Jane Hankin is an Associate Artist of Shakespeare’s Globe, an Associate Lecturer at the Royal College of Art, and a member of Brixton House’s Artistic Advisory Collective.

 

Amelia trained in architecture before specialising in performance design at RADA then the RSC as Resident Associate Designer. As a performance designer Amelia has collaborated with a broad range of companies, producers and artists across the UK and internationally including The Royal Exchange, Shakespeare’s Globe, Bush Theatre, Graeae, RSC, Kiln Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Young Vic, Almeida Theatre, Perth International Festival, Paines Plough, Birmingham Rep and Tiata Fahodzi. Amelia’s work has been exhibited at the V&A Museum’s ‘Make/Believe’.
