Studio AJH is lead by Amelia Jane Hankin.  

Amelia trained in architecture before specialising in performance design at RADA then the RSC as Resident Associate Designer. As a performance designer has collaborated with a broad range of companies, producers and artists across the UK and internationally including The Royal Exchange, Shakespeare’s Globe, Bush Theatre, Graeae, RSC, Chichester Festival Theatre, Young Vic, Almeida Theatre, Perth International Festival, Paines Plough, Birmingham Rep and Tiata Fahodzi. Amelia’s work has been exhibited at the V&A Museum’s ‘Make/Believe’. 

 Amelia has 7+ years experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in spatial design and independently mentors people who have an interest in working as a scenic designer or studying spatial design.
